They are experienced Radiologists, Sonographers, Radiographers, registered nurses, and other supporting staff. <br><br>\n\nA series of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures are carried out with the utilisation of sophisticated equipment in the Diagnostic Imaging Department. All diagnostic images are stored in the hospital\u2019s PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) in digital format.<br><br>\n\nWe are using a 640-slice Canon CT Scanner to obtain extremely high-quality coronary artery images in just a 1-second breath hold. Thus, Radiologists and patients can have accurate and high-quality images in a short time, without risking patients moving to the Diagnostic Imaging Department, hence improving the overall patient care quality.<\/p><p>On the other hand, children have different imaging needs as compared to adult patients. Advantages include time efficiency through bypassing chemical processing and the ability to digitally transfer and enhance images. Also, less radiation can be used to produce an image of similar contrast to conventional radiography.<\/p><p>Instead of X-ray film, digital radiography uses a digital image capture device.
