Initially she was feeling withdrawn and melancholic, but she decided not to let her emotions overpower her and instead embraced the challenge with resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In August 2021, with financial support from her niece, she underwent a mastectomy. However, chemotherapy was still needed, a costly treatment that threatened her financial stability. Turing to Penang Adventist Hospital\u2019s Charity Department, she received two medical charities totaling RM41,800 covering 73% of her treatment cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ms. Loo\u2019s positive surroundings, including her supportive friends, played a significant role in her journey.
