PATIENTS INFORMATION

We have some helpful information listed as a guideline for patients with enquiries in regards to our hospitalisation here, in Adventist. For any further enquiries, feel free to contact us or enquire with our receptionists.

ADMISSION
ADMISSION

Please bring with you the following documents to facilitate proper and expedient admission:

  • Malaysian identity card (NRIC)
  • Passport if not a Malaysian citizen
  • Your doctor’s referral letter and guarantee letter (GL) / employee ID card / deposit for self-pay
  • Appointment card

Please be punctual for the admission appointment. The appointment time is arranged so that ample time is given for proper preparation to facilitate better care.

When you arrive, please see our receptionist (Front Desk) who will assist to complete your registration/ admission, confirm your room assignment and finalise the financial arrangement. Our staff will escort you to your room.

In urgent cases, you may be admitted directly to your room, and our staff will process your registration/ admission. In such a case, your next-of-kin or relative may provide assistance.

You may wish to bring the following items:

  • Pyjamas & personal clothing*
  • Toiletries
  • Towels
  • Slippers

*Laundry service is not provided for personal clothing.

PATIENTS DISCHARGE
PATIENTS DISCHARGE

Discharge hours are between 11.00am and 2.00pm from Sunday to Friday. If you do not vacate your room by 2.00pm, you will be charged an additional full day’s rate.

If you want to be discharged on a Saturday or Public Holiday, please contact your doctor / nurses in the morning of the day before. They will make arrangements for your bill to be raised for payment on that day.

PAYMENT OF ACCOUNT
PAYMENT OF ACCOUNT

All accounts must be settled before you are discharged from the hospital. If your employer has an existing credit facility with the hospital and is settling your account, please bring the letter of guarantee or you will be required to settle your own account. Check with the Patient Financial Services to see whether your employer is listed.

Before you leave the hospital, a departure permit is required from the Cashier’s Office, which is to be given to your ward nurse.

INSURANCE POLICY
INSURANCE POLICY

You will be required to settle your own bill before you are discharged from the hospital, unless a final guarantee letter is received from your insurance company.

For ‘Pay and File Claim’ cases, Patient Financial Services staff will assist you in completing your insurance claim forms.
