Dr Diong Seng Kwok graduated with a medical degree awarded by the National University of Ireland in 2001. He also holds a Master's Degree in Obstetrics and Gynaecology conferred by the University of Malaya.
He began his medical career by being posted as a House Officer to the Hospital Alor Setar, Kedah. He was later transferred to serve at the Hospital Baling, Kedah and Hospital Sungai Petani, Kedah. He became a trainee at the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department of the Hospital Pulau Pinang in 2007, and in 2009 joined the University Malaya Medical Centre as a Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Prior to joining Penang Adventist Hospital in 2017, Dr Diong worked as an Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialist at Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor Bahru and Hospital Pulau Pinang respectively.
Dr Diong has an interest in guiding his patients through a safe childbirth experience. He is also well-versed in treating a broad range of pregnancy complications and gynaecological conditions. He was a recipient of the "Excellence in Service Award" from the Ministry of Health Malaysia in 2008 and again in 2012 for his excellent service.
Dr Diong is a member of the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Society of Malaysia, and the Penang Family Health Development Association.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr Diong is also a clinical tutor at the Penang Medical College.
